Other Named Funds
Established to support programs and projects which further the mission of the Foundation and allow a donor to honor his or her family or colleagues. The first three named public service fund endowments established are:
- The Hugh Looney Excellence Endowment Fund, funded by friends and family to honor the late Hugh Looney
- The Gibbs Family Endowment Fund, funded by James A. Gibbs in honor of his family
- The Jack C. and Catherine I. Threet Endowed Fund for the Advancement of Petroleum Geology.
For a minimum contribution of $25,000 a donor is allowed to name a fund in honor of his or her family or colleagues. Trustees are able to use these funds at their discretion and as needs arise. To be included in this list, contact the Foundation today!
