Grants-in-Aid Committee Named Grant

Grants-in-Aid Committee

The Grants-in-Aid Committee Named Grant was created by past-chair Pete MacKenzie to recognize exceptional student proposal(s) that deserve special recognition, and that may not meet the criteria for an existing named grant. Considered the Chair's Choice Award, it holds a special place in that it is largely funded by current and former GIA committee members. This grant is awarded annually to deserving graduate student(s), and is not restricted to any specific topic or school.
