Attention Texas Tech alumni and friends – the Eddie David Challenge Grant needs only $28,980 to establish an endowment for the Texas Tech University. Trustee Associate, Eddie David, has agreed to match gifts for two new grants up to $100,000. The new Eddie David Named Grant is restricted to graduate students at Texas Tech University as part of the AAPG Foundation Grants-In-Aid program. The new George B. Asquith Scholarship for Excellence in Petroleum Geology will be selected annually by the Texas Tech Foundation and will be based on research achievement and academic merit for a graduate student studying exploration of hydrocarbon resources.
