The Teacher of the Year (TOTY) Award is granted annually to an outstanding teacher within the United States who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in the field of geoscience education.

Submit your application now for the 2019 TOTY award. The winner will receive $6,000 and an expense-paid trip to the AAPG Convention and Exhibition in San Antonio, May 19-22, 2019. The $6,000 prize will be split with half given to the teacher for personal use and the other half given to their school for educational purposes under the teacher's supervision.
