About the Foundation
The American Association of Petroleum Geologists Foundation exists to support the geosciences, plain and simple. We fund many educational opportunities, public outreach and various grants and scholarships at the university level. We recognize outstanding achievement in the geosciences and we assist in the dissemination of new technological information as well as the preservation of important studies, data and research. The AAPG Foundation touches thousands of people each year and is proud of our many programs, initiatives and our supporters.
