Student Associations (Associations, Chapters and Clubs)

Student associations are free to use their portion of the grant to support student activities through the purchase of necessary equipment (e.g., rock hammers and camping equipment) and other exploration-related materials, and/or the funding of conferences and field trips.

Make sure to have the following materials ready when you apply. You’ll need to submit them along with your application.

• Description or mission of chapter or association.
• Description of past activities and accomplishments indicating student activity level.
• Description of intended use.
• One endorsement from association academic advisor.
